Resource and material guide

Regardless of whether you plan to focus on the fight or on the campaign map, resources will be an integral part of success in Conqueror's Blade. Without wood, leather and iron, you won't be able to arm your soldiers, build a siege weapon, or develop your settlements to raise new and larger armies.

Of course, if you have accumulated a huge income, you may be able to buy everything you need from the market, but for most, it will be an option when times are desperate. To win battles, you must also win in logistics, which means access to the right resources at the right time and in the right quantities. To do this, you need to know what different resources are doing, where to find them, and how to get them.

It is worth knowing that there are basically three types of resources, basic, exotic and material, although in each of them there are some subtypes that are worth distinguishing, which we will reach later

In general, basic and exotic resources can be found in one of the eight resource types of a site found worldwide. Just visit the site that has what you need, transfer the required currency or extraction token, and then, after mining, you can transfer new resources to the car or caravan. Then you simply escort your goods to the market or store them when you need to convert them into materials - which are sophisticated resources used in personal and unitary items and equipment, siege weapons, and building and construction upgrades.

Basic resources

These resources are available in all parts of the world and are necessary to create all the basic materials. There are eight categories of basic resources: Food (from farms), Horses (from paddocks and stables), Wood (from felling camps), Animal skins (from tannery), Cotton (from cotton fields), Iron ore (iron mines), Ore Copper (Copper Mines) and Stone (from quarries).

Each resource category is further divided into four levels or levels (common, rare, rare and epic), with the main difference being that to create material comparable with a large amount of resources (e.g. from a pine logging camp) fewer epic resources (e.g.

Exotic Resources

Exotic resources are required in small but significant amounts to improve the quality level of refined material. For example, only basic resources are needed for fashion common materials, while one exotic element - in addition to basic resources - is needed for materials uncommonly (and two exotics for rare material, etc.).

Although many exotic resources can be found in all regions, some are only available in one or two regions. In addition, unlike the basic resources that are collected in certain quantities, there is no guarantee that any exotic resources will be found during the extraction cycle. However, exotic resources are not limited to specific extraction sites. For example, while cedar lumber can only be harvested from a compensation camp, exotic lumber, such as larch, can potentially be available at any of the four varieties of harvesting site. (Although also in the case of Larch, as long as they are in Maoyang or Liangyun.)

materials

Materials are essentially production resources. They are improved from basic and exotic resources to be used to create personal and unit equipment, siege weapons and construction.

As with their namesake Basic Resource Groups, each Material is classified by its rank (common, uncommon, rare, and epic), which is usually determined by the ratio of primary to exotic resources required to create it. For example, "common" Spiced wood requires only basic resources (Pine, Cedar, etc.), while "rare" and "epic" Wood will require additional exotic wood resources such as larch lumber.

It is worth noting that materials produced only from basic resources (i.e. shared materials) cannot be used for personal production (Warlord). To create high-quality hero items, you will need to have access to so-called "Player Resources" that are created from the dismantling of personal items. Treasure, a type of exotic resources that includes Amber (from logging camps), Garnet (from iron mines), Moonstone (Quarries), Silk (Cotton Fields), Musk (Garstony) and Moonstone (Quarries), although primarily a sales resource , may include in the production of personal items at a later date.

unfolding

Classified as a player resource to distinguish it from resources from various resource sites, it is a small group of production resources that are created when inventory is no longer required and is broken down and not sold. Player resources can be taken to NPC craftsmen and used to create new items and equipment for personal assembly. As with other types of resources, "spreading" occurs in common, rare, rare and epic variants.

To continue ...

Since the resource system was still being customized at the time of writing, we will follow this guide closer to the release with a detailed look at all types of resources, where they can be found and in what quantities are needed to create specific materials. We will also detail all types of NPCs and how they facilitate the refining and production process.
